Elevator Pitch: I am a licensed attorney, have an 11-year track record as an entrepreneur in the food industry, the financial industry and the private equity business and know corporate issues from an entrepreneurial, business, legal and tax perspective. Thanks to my extensive knowledge and multi-perspective experience, I contribute significantly to strategic and operational decision-making in companies, supervisory and advisory boards, always keeping an eye on governance structures, economic and legal risks and long-term corporate goals.

I found my introduction to corporate transactions and the associated legal, tax and business implications through the sale of my own company, which was active in the food industry.

 

The high level of complexity fascinated me so much that I developed a clearly transaction-oriented career and expertise during my studies in Switzerland, France and Germany, as well as during my legal clerkship, combining legal, tax and business qualifications.

Through my work in the M&A and corporate law departments of EY Law, SNP Law and Friedrich Graf von Westphalen, I was able to gain international legal deal and valuation expertise on the buy and sell side. Through my work in the Transaction Tax department at EY, I was also able to expand this in the area of tax. Both the pre- and post-exit phase were part of my area of responsibility.

My work at Capvis AG, the largest Swiss private equity company, fits seamlessly into my transaction-oriented career.

From 2015 to 2019, I worked as a securities analyst and specialist author at a leading German asset manager, where I gained in-depth knowledge of the international capital markets and the craft of securities valuation and analysis.

As the offspring of a family-owned group of companies in the waste management, recycling and energy sectors, I am very familiar with the challenges that companies and the owner families and entrepreneurs behind them have to face.In addition to my legal career, I have always been keen to underpin my affinity for business management through various further training courses with relevant certificates.
The Iudex non calculat approach is far from my mind.

Through my holding structure and my work as Managing Partner in the Mellinckrodt Group, I am active as an entrepreneur in various sectors, including energy, software, commodieties and fund management.

I also hold a management position in my family's family office and am responsible for investment strategies.

I am a native speaker of German and English and fluent in French.

I have been a member of the German-American Lawyers Association since 2021.
